Anyone else getting concerned

Went shopping, only one grocery store however it had the least stock I’ve ever seen.
No paper goods at all, TP, paper towels, napkin
No sanitizing cleaner I need to clean the tub, guess I’ll go old school 1/10th bleach
Mixture
Speaking of bleach there was practically none. Fortunately I have some at home
Nearly zero soup
No canned chili
No pasta
Little pasta sauce
Milk was lowest I’ve seen but available
No flour (Sister needs some no pics guys)
No sugar except a few tiny one use packs, brown sugar is included
Maybe a dozen various frozen veggies
Low on eggs but available
Low on butter but available
Okay amount of fresh fruits & veggies

Felt like a disaster movie or something out of the day after in a way.
I want you guys to laugh at me in a few weeks because that means my concern was stupid.

Edit: I am in MA and the Governor closed all non essential businesses starting Tuesday. I’m sure there is some panic buying

No too concerned. I've been a "mini prepper" for years. I don't go all out but I always have food for at least 30 days. We have Bug Out Bags, guns and lots of ammo. Keep vehicle fuel tanks as full as practical, have cash and silver. Just normal stuff.

I'm irritated, not concerned, fucking hoarders need to knock it the fuck off. I just wanted a jar of my regular spaghetti sauce, NOPE! There were like three jars of sauce period, and a bunch of little jars of pesto.
I was at least able to buy chicken this week. I'm out of ground beef, I think they're keeping it all behind the butcher's counter now, but I need to go pick up a prescription so I'll find out.

I have to go to my eye doctor on wednesday...this is annoying me. I put off the last 2 weeks of scheduled appointments because I had a flu. No way of getting around this one.

I totally get that and we have an acceptable stock of food but the weird stuff like cleaners also I find it disturbing it got worse, which may be due to the Governor.
Month worth of food is great but what about your loved ones or neighbors. Don’t cite a gun you’re not shooting anyone.

That's their issue.
I have antibiotics too.

I went to multiple stores this morning. Most were well stocked of everything but paper products. Plenty of milk, eggs, bread meat and produce. Shelves were fairly well stocked at all three locations.

Managed to get some TP. Was down to 6 rolls.

Most grocery stores get trucks at least 3 times a week. It might be more now. So if you need something you should Monday Wednesday or Friday mornings as the trucks are generally Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. This doesn’t apply to Walmart and Target but should be pretty applicable to almost all normal grocery stores.

Figured this would happen which is why I stocked up weeks ago. I only need to go to the grocery store about once every 2 weeks to buy some milk and eggs. I've pretty much everything else. We don't need bread because my wife bakes better than any grocery stores around here.

Because people are hoarding, you'll see less going to the store, so any new stock shouldn't go as fast. It seems everyone wanted a good supply, so they didn't have to make a visit in the near future for obvious reasons.

Around here, ALL stores have limit on necessities, about 3 items per purchase or less, or even 1 such as toilet paper so no hoarding. It does help if you go when the stores just open in the morning, don't wait until afternoon/evening.

It only takes a disaster for people’s true colors to come out.

I saw a middle aged lady wearing sunglasses and gloves at the supermarket, I laughed and told her not to worry we will all be dead soon anyway.

Was that about her or your true colors coming out? Not sure how to take your post.

We've been ok here for the most part. Our town is pretty small so when the stores are restocked, you can generally get what you need. The hoarders are a&^holes though. I'm down to about a dozen rolls of tp and need to find some more. I do need to bust out our bread maker though. Never used it and it's been sitting in our garage for about 10 years. I don't even think we've ever plugged it in.

He said she needed flour. You know the old saying...

I'm more irritated than worried. I went to the store twice over the weekend, and got pissed off both times at the people acting like idiots. I'll try again in a couple weeks. I /may/ stop in and try to get the raisins I forgot, but it probably isn't worth it.

Somebody analyzing my recent amazon purchases may come to the conclusion I knew something before anyone else. I recently ordered a bunch of stuff that could be considered survival food. Pilot bread, canned bread, and a shit ton of canned fish. Other than the fish that I regularly get, the other stuff was because I've been interested in trying it for awhile, couldn't find it locally, and added it to my amazon order. Impeccable timing, intentional or not.

All the stores in my area have set limits on amounts of certain goods you can buy!
So far there are limits on water, milk, eggs and toilet paper!
