Anyone else getting a prompt today in ie9 to open something called pcon.js

For the past hour or so, I'm getting this message in ie9 to open a save a file called pcon.js from www. wtp101.com.


Anyone know what this is. A quick google search reveils others are having the same problem. I keep hitting the cancel button. Don't know what this garbage is.

Might want to block the site via your router or hosts file just in case. I would also check to be sure your java is up to date and possibly consider switching to a browser with a script blocker.

This is exactly why I don't use IE

I'm seeing this discussed as some sort of drive-by download that was embedded in some very popular advertising network junk.

It only affects IE9 and I suspect it will go away if you clear the browser cache, as the site is down already.
