Anyone else get this from SprintPCS ?

For the SprintPCS customers here... did you get a "loyalty" reward email saying you can use free nights and weekends starting at 8pm if you sign a contract for 1 year ? My contract is almost up and I may do this depending on how my fiance likes Verizon. If the house reception sucks just as much as Sprint, then I'm doing this. The 1 hour makes a big difference.

If you got this, say how long you've been with Sprint. I've been with them for more than 3 years... when 8pm was the cut-over for nighttime minutes before they switched to 9pm.

Nothing like that here. Been with them for just over three years. Would be nice if I did get it though.

I got 8pm night/weekends back when I went to a retention plan. However, I'm 80% sure when I first got Sprint in 8/00 I had 7pm night/weekends on a $30 plan that was 250/250. Anyway, yes, 8pm makes a huge difference.

I got the e-mail too. It also says you will get free unlimited PCS-to-PCS calling an addition to 8pm off-peak if you agree to a new 2-year agreement.

I think I will hold off for now because I don't benefit much from either of those deals right now.

yea i just got that. sweet deal (well, compared to the crappy plans they have now)... exactly the same as the plan i have now, except now the times that are considered weekends and nights are now expanded. /end sarcasm
ah well... can't wait for # portability. might switch to verizon

The 8PM deals will be offered if you contact the retention department. I was given this timeslot with no hassle over a year ago; I had just called to inquire about some offers that I had heard about from other companies and asked did they have something similar.

After one year, I was offered 880 minutes, unlimited night and weekend starting at 8pm. I was also offered $125 credit towardsa new phone. You have to haggle to get this🙂

I just called to cancel my Sprint service on Monday as I decided to drop them after not being able to make a single call while stuck in NYC for the blackout. Luckily I was with someone who had a functional phone. When I called to cancel, I told them I already had Nextel before they could even start trying to sweeten my deal with them. They were about to offer me a better plan to keep me though I'm not sure what it was.

Their retention program is where it's at. I have a 500min / 3000 (basically unlimited) min night/weekends starting at 8pm for $40
