If you're not sure on what I mean, don't worry about it. I am sure someone here knows :) Currently riding the ABIX wave now :)

Seriously. YOu can't expect us to be fine with you just saying "don't worry about it."

6000 shares before the split?

So you sold 12K shares at $115 apiece?

That's $1.4 mil, is this real money?

Jesus, that's 1.5 mil.

How much of your portfolio does that represent?

About 35%. Half is for REAL long term holdings. The other half, I use for these lucrative short term plays just like this one, and the current game of ABIX and CRDN. By short term, I mean under 3 months from buy to sell.

How much in ABIX? What triggered it? It's up 300% in the last month...

I've had it about a month and a half. Holding 20k shares right this minute. Greg, I'll PM you the details in a minute on what triggered it, and these others.

I cannot divulge my personal triggers, but, I would recommend reading the TASR message board on finance.yahoo.com to get the feel of how this short term game is played best (forewarning: a LOT of those guys are just market pushers and ID10TS). You'll get some good leads and info there. Just DO YOUR HOMEWORK before you delve into it though, or you'll come out like a broken down old Ford pickup. I do this mostly for the fun and rush of it. I still go to work every day like everyone else. I am not a "day trader". I play one a few times a day though. Even though I make FAR more playing with this short term game, I still work where I have for the past 5 years.

I'm in the exact same boat as you... work full time and trade for some quick and extra money on the side. I too have made plenty of successful trades, but I'm always looking for new shares to profit off.. I've been trading for about 2 years now....and yeah I too browse yahoo boards and know just how much crap you have to wade through in order to find the truly useful posts.

Just looking for company in this fun game, not asking to divulge any trade secrets.
