Welp I was glad to get in on the deal. I submitted the order the minute the coupon went live, and just got the order confirmation 30 minutes ago. Couldn't pass up the offer on a KICK @$$ box + 2 - 20" LCDs for $1620. Only you RossMAN could get it down as low as you did. I mean, from what I can tell the only difference is I got the 160GB SATA drive versus your 80GB, but you got the 256MB GTO versus my 128MB X300.

Yes sir but there are other projects ahead of this.

You should just start a priority 1 mailing list. I'd sign up for that. Dont need an elaborate website or anything. Just send out an email (after you have secured your own deal that is 😉 )

Ive been working on a script that would notify me of deals by parsing several hot deals sites and catching keywords that i specify. its the last thing on my list of things to do...but i have always wanted to finish it.

If you're good at writing scripts, might I suggest writing one that scans the stock at Dell Outlet and adds hot deals to your cart. People make thousands by using the script to snag all the sub-$400 laptops and sub-$200 desktops when Dell Outlet has a big sale (like they did a few days ago).

I got in on it, but am semi-regretting it now. Only plan on keeping 1 LCD. After tax, I need to recover $1750 with the sale of the cpu, 2001fp, and my 1 month old Sony SDM-S74/B.

I'll be happy to break even and basically get a free upgrade from my 17" LCD to a 20.1".

why would you need to recoup so much ? is that with the 17" Sony LCD factored in ?

why would you need to recoup so much ? is that with the 17" Sony LCD factored in ?

I didn't know about the $75 coupon, and tax was teh ghey. I was only able to get it down to the $1600, then tax + shipping brought it to $1850, subtract the shipping rebate and I end up with $1750 out. I'll be happy (and lucky) if I can end up even after selling the PC with 1 LCD and my 17" LCD and break even.

I would need to recoup that much so that my wife doesn't kick me out of the house!

Yeah, it's kind of vague how RossMAN got his price down to $1400. Maybe he had Dell Dollars too.

Shouldn't be too hard. If I can get 300-350 (it was 450 a month ago) for my LCD, breaking even and getting the free upgrade to the 20" from my 17" should be easy.
