Anyone else get connected to a job by someone you met on AT?

There always seems to be a lot of discussion on a few of the forums about working in IT (obviously). Anyone else had a work opportunity fall into their lap from an anand connection?

There is a lot of experience and knowledge in most of these forums, why don't more people try to build up their work networks on here? Or have you all been doing that all along?

Anyway, anyone else in the Minneapolis metro area on AT? Beer sometime?

I hired Hossenfeffer for a temp gig once after posting about the job on here, and Zenmervolt got his second job networking through me (not sure that counts though since we did meet on here but were personal IRL friends by then.)
