I use a mach 3 with gillete for sensitive skin. Whenever I shave my face feels fine but my neck just hurts like hell, and even touching it just hurts... any ideas on what to do? I'm thinking of even using a sensor excel on my neck and then going with the mach 3 for my face =/

Before I shave, I trim down with a clipper. Really makes a difference in the process.

I shave every other day, and I'm only 18...so I don't grow an enormous amount of facial hair in that time, but I like to stay clean shaven...so there isn't much to trim :(

Is it the one in the silverish/bullet metal container? complete care or something?

if you're shaving against the grain and going over it more than once, yeah, you're going to irritate the skin.

Yes it is. So far so good. :)

I've also noticed that my Mach3 shaves better as it gets older. I have no idea why!

I hate shaving. I usually wait until it itches so bad I can't take it anymore. Every time I shave it feels like the razor is ripping the hair out, not cutting it. Doesn't seem to matter if it's a brand new blade or not.

Hmm... are you shaving from right to left or something? Do not shave against the grain on your neck. That's the golden rule of manhood.

Take it from me a real life ninja, follow these steps for shaving comfort:

1. Put hot water on your face
2. Put a good amount of shaving gel into your hand and rub on face like "wax on wax off" from Karate Kid
3. Let sit for a minute (take this time to wail on guitar or pork a hot babe)
4. Make sure you are using a decent razor and shave WITH the grain (you don't need against unless you area hairy monster or the wolfman)
5. wash off face with cold water
6. take a shower (jumping around screaming in the shower is optional)
7. after shower put a small amount of mosturizer on your neck/face

(note: the above also works good for shaving your pubes and then turning invisible and spinkling the pubes on your enemies' light colored clothes to embarass the crap out of them)

peace out homey,
A shaving ninja

Have your girlfriend kick you in the nuts immediately after shaving. I doubt the stinging in the neck will bother you. ;)

I always put a nice layer of AS 3 before i shave. But even after that yes your neck itchs. And then you itch.I have tried Venus and shilette lubricated blades. There less itching I think its the Ky they put on it. Just say there for you GF (Yes the venus works great if you have sensitive skin, try it)
