Anyone else get a bill from Call Wave?

I tried the software over a year ago and now they are trying to charge me $3.95.

They instruct in a letter to discontinue the service and prevent future billing by calling the phone company and cancelling the call forwarding service. Again, I did that over a year ago.

Of course, when you try to cotact Call Wave by telephone, you can't reach anyone.
 
Call your credit card company and inform them to refuse any charges from the company. Usually that gets you in contact with them rather quick. I would also get something confirming that you cancelled the call forwarding from your telephone company, and make a printout of whatever it was that told you to do that. Send copies of them via certified mail to the company's physical address. If they pressure you more drop the words "legal action" and "harrassment" into a conversation with them.

They didn't charge my cc, they just sent me a bill.

Oh. Well just send it back with "BILL NOT PAID. NO SERVICES RENDERED." stamped on it, along with the two documents I mentioned previously.

Just stamp it with "OMGWTFBBQ!!!!111!!!!!!!!!" and send it back to them. Then see what they do.

Perhaps they would stamp "NOT FUNNY!!1" on it and mail it back.

Frankly with the other two things in there you could stamp "I LIKE CHEESE. SMELL MY WAFFLED MANGOS" and they'd drop it.
