Anyone else find they don't have a problem playing games at low FPS?

I'm running Dragon Age Origins on my PC at 1920x1200 and getting about 25fps average. That probably means I'm dipping into the mid teens on the low end. I find this quite playable. I actually find this to be a playable average on a lot of games, whether PC or console. Mind you I don't like First Person Shooters where frame rate really matters. Anyone else find they can stand fairly low frame rates?

sure u can get by with jerkiness if its not a fps.
but try playing a fast paced fps and you'd just get slaughtered.

For shooters I need at least 30 frames per second and I do better if its closer to my max refresh.
At 1600x1200 thats 85 hertz.

For RTS's that are really fast paced I still need close to 30fps. All other games I can get by. Though KOTOR is a lot like a 3rd person shooter as far as gameplay goes. Luckily that plays smooth no matter what.

RPGs, strategy games etc I can play at a low FPS. But 90% of my gaming is FPS games which I can't stand at a low frame rate. Also racing games suck at low frame rate.

FPS games - it has to stay above 30 else I get a headache. Most other games - not so much of a problem.

I noticed this while watching Digital 3d version of Avatar today [and the previews] - I could "see" the ghosting... Didn't give me a headache...but man was it annoying at times...

I find myself needing 30 regardless of game D:. I make it work with lower settings but sigh, this PC I'm on, I just don't play games because I can't stand the low frames. And it's gay that Counter Strike won't play online because I get good FPS in it.

Maybe it's just that I'm used to my Q9550 @ 3.4 and GTX260..
