Anyone else feeling like they get less sleep now?

I used to get 8 hours of sleep every night, now it's more like 4 or 6 hours of sleep every night, sometimes 3, but on weekends I make up for it and sleep for maybe 12 hours :Q

I try to stay at 9. 8 is too short for me. My classes start at 1 on MWF, 12:30 on TTh.

yeah man...when i was a kid it was guaranteed 9+ hours a day.. now it's like anywhere from 6-9 usually (occasionally outside of that range)... it's sometimes by choice too...

i get 4-6 every night until once every couple weeks it all catches up and i sleep for like 12 hours. i guess thats less than when i was a kid.

well, I went from lazy bum (10 hours) to working stiff (plus classes), which is only ~6 hours...which sucks. And yeah, much like the OP, I make up for it by getting about 10-12 hours on my days off/weekends.

I got the most sleep as a kid, like many others. With the internet, I'm sure there's more sleep deprived people such as myself. Wonder what kind of drugs sold more in general because of the existence of the internet.

I work 6-day weeks and sleep around anywhere from 4-7hour a day, which isn't bad actually.

Working my own hours lets me have a messed up sleeping schedule. On most days I'll go to sleep at 3:00 - 4:00 AM and wake up at Noonish so I usually get 8 hours minimum. Back in high school I got barely any. I would stay up all night til 4am playing quakeworld (quake1) then be up for school at 7am! College was a little better due to flexible classes but still only 5 hours average. Now that I'm done school I guess I'm making up for it....just cause I can really. No reason.
