You have to realize apple fanbois are some of the worst things on earth but that's ok as they help keep the world from getting even more overpopulated as they spend all the money on new versions of a phone every few months or overpriced underpowered computers while the rest of us blow it on hookers. :p

Srsly... fuck apple :\

Its not Apple's fault that everyone (even Anandtech mainpage) parrots every little move that Apple makes. Apple is doing some great things, but the fanboys ruin it for everyone.

nothing to do with being vested in apple. i just get annoyed when people claim to dislike something so much, yet they will post pages and pages of reasons why they dislike something. typically when i don't like something, i don't waste any time on it.

the vocal minorities hating on apple gets annoying. and it's not just apple. it is ANYTHING that is popular. just like the Transformers 3 thread. i'd say like 90% of the posts in there were from people saying how shitty the movie is going to be or is yet they did not even go see it. but they wanted everyone to know just how much they hate it.

it can get annoying when you are trying to read on a subject that you enjoy and have a real discussion about it, but you only find that content while reading through 90% of the thread bashing said content.

it's not just this forum, it is the internet in general. it is a peeve of mine.

glad you've taken notice, my job is done.

That's long winded for just being annoyed.

I think that list of ways to start a flame war needs to be updated to include any thread with Apple in the title.

paint white != innovate

edit, to clarify- so you're saying by taking the hard disk MP3 player, crippling it with DRM and horrible software, and charging more, they innovated, right? i think you're the one who doesn't know what that word means.

You have gone full retard. You look at it from a pure technology perspective like a typical tech nerd. Apple took an existing technology, the mp3 player, and created a music ecosystem around it that CHANGED THE ENTIRE MUSIC INDUSTRY. They took an existing technology, the smart phone, which was previously a niche product, and CHANGED THE ENTIRE CELL PHONE INDUSTRY. They single handily killed the booming netbook industry in one product cycle with the ipad. They have started a revolution in tablet computing and app centric computer interfaces that is staged to turn the entire PC industry on it's head. They are one of the most valuable companies in the world because they change every industry they touch.

And you claim they dont innovate? Steve Jobs stock portfolio would beg to differ.

apple has never innovated anything ever. they just popularize shitty nuked versions of other people's innovations. how someone on a tech forum could be like LOL APPLE INVENTED THE MP3 PLAYER, THE MP3 PHONE, AND THE GIANT MP3 PLAYER LOL is baffling.

Yea I'm sure they just tricked their way into success....

give me a break.

apple takes a category and cracks the code, if it were so easy others would do it, doing something no one else does is innovation.
folks like you were pissing on the ipad and such saying it would be beaten in months and now where are you? How many times can you be wrong.

Meh, it would have been much worse had they released the iPhone5. The fact that yesterday was a disappointment has led to MUCH less media coverage.

ATTN: THIS IS THE STUPIDEST THING YOU CAN POST ON AN INTERNET FORUM.

please stop doing it, or i will officially start replying to every thread with the slightest connotation of negativity with 'I DON'T SEE YOU DOING ANY BETTER.'

what a dumbshit thing to say.

'cause bose makes great product and/or is going out of business, right? lol.

this is the other official stupidest argument ever. 'b-b-b-b-but it's POPULAR!'

if you want to give apple credit, do it in the right place- marketing innovation. they saw you all coming for fucking miles.

No, millions of people buy their products so I understand why we hear about them so much. Therefore it does not bother me.

but wouldn't it be better if millions of people bought, you know, good products at good prices?

i would argue that other people's buying habits do affect me, but it doesn't that much in this case. if anything, [better] competing products are even cheaper because the companies are so desperate to sell them.

it's just hard to encourage what i usually call 'sony-ism'- put out one product that people like better than the competition, and you're set for life.

retarded public opinion is why sony is still riding the wave of the walkman, ffs.

The products arn't that bad. They are easy to use and are good looking. Their targeted audience isn't the tech people, it is for the rest of the world.

Think of Apple as the McDonalds of tech. They are good at what they are designed to do, they follow a different definition of good then you seem to have.

They have high prices because they seem to be reliable.

but bose is popular...? are you saying they're not awesome?

lulz, apple fans suck at arguing as much as they suck at comparison shopping. which is to say, they have no idea what's going on but will assert their incorrect/incomplete information to the death. shit, maybe you all should work at best buy.
