Anyone else experiencing slow Netflix turnaround this week?

I sent a movie out in the mail on Saturday (before the mail came), they got it on Monday, they sent the next disc out late Monday (I got the e-mail around 6), still have not received the next disc.

I sent another movie out on Monday, they sent the replacement Tuesday, I got it today (normally I'd get it the next day).

I'm guessing the mail is slow this week because of the holiday (do people even mail stuff for Thanksgiving? Doesn't seem like it'd be a big mail holiday)? Anyone else experiencing this?

I'm noticing a slow turn around with my Netflix too. Seems it started when they lowered the price recently. One of my co-worker has noticed the same thing with his. I doubt it's the holidays causing this since I noticed this back in late Oct-early Nov.

Its not just people mailing stuff that slows it down... its people at the post office taking vacations because of the holiday, numerous fund/food raisers that take shipping and a lot of other things as well...

i've noticed the slow down too. it used to be 2 days, now its more like a week. it happened right around the price decrease. i don't think its coincidence.

i returned 3 movies at once, netflix got them all at the same time. then it sent out my next 2 and waited 4 days to send the 3rd. quite fishy indeed.

I work for a company that deals primarily with government contracts. Currently our primary project is with the USPS, and requires us to have physical access to postal sorting facilities.

We have been excluded from postal sites for ~2 weeks now, and will be until after the new year. They close their sort facilities to deal with the volume during the holiday season.

This is their busiest time of year, slow(er) mail is pretty much a given.

That has been happening to me recently although it hasn't been consistent.

Example:Monday I sent 3 back and Tuesday they shipped Dodgeball/Spiderman2/Eternal Sunshine Spotless and I recieved it Wednesday.....

I do believe they throttle back my shipments sometimes. But I average at least 15 rentals a month for the price of 4 Blockbuster rentals and no late fees, I won't complain.................too much

It's holidays, tis to be expected. I mailed 3 movies back on Monday. They received Tuesday morning and mailed the next 3 non-new releases out on Wednesday. Hopefully I will receive them today.
