Anyone else Emetophobia? Well i am.. what about you. POLL

Also i dont like to be around people if they feel like they are going to spew. Just the sound eekks me and the look and smell gets me badly. Thats my "phobia". So are you " Emetophobia" I mean a strong PHOBIA of this and not a tiny one. I will lock myself in a room if someone is sick that involves spewing.

Way back when I was a youngster, I went to the movie theater to see the latest movie, my friend and I sat in a front row balcony seat, I looked down and a bright idea came to me, I started making vomiting sounds while pouring my chocolate milkshake onto the patrons below, the guy it landed on immediately started upchucking, this caused a chain reaction and almost emptied the theater.

Yes it is. If I had that phobia, I would be in serious trouble. My wife gets the worst migranes, and pretty much has to puke before they start to get better. As the dutiful husband, I get to offer assistance in holding the hair back, and getting a cold washclothe.

That and hearing the sounds or seeing it. Some are so bad that they have panic attacks or they cant stand watching a cartoon like simpsons with puking. Reason i dont like mtv b/c the commericals have this in it and Jackass tv show has alot of this also.

I hate the smell, but I can deal with it absolutely fine.

My phobia stems from my slightly overactive imagination. Which is why every so often I get freaked out in the dark. It happens very little, though.

Cry well i do. Im not major emet but trust me i am alittle. On a scale from 1-10 im guessing that im a 5 or 6. I eat alot till im about to blow unlike some emet do... they far beyond me. Some needs someone by them to help thru when there sick (like right next to them while there puking). Some cry alot alot alot and this f"*ck there life if they feel sick. They wont drive in the car unless there the driver and by thereself.
