Anyone else eat soup straight from the can?

Tried this camping when I was a kid and have liked it ever since, my gf thinks I am a freak, please tell me i am not alone.

Sure, if it's Campbell's Soup at Hand. Other than that, no, I wouldn't do it.

I used to just peel off the label and place an open can in a pot of boiling water. No dishes to clean afterwards.

I still do it when I don't have time. I don't usually like to eat thing unnaturally cold or unnaturally hot either. I like to eat stuff just barely above room temp so it isn't a big deal for me.

In college I would eat Spagettios out of the can, but I at least put Red Hot sauce on it. That way I felt I at least added some heat.

Would probably depend what kind of soup... I've never done it, but I bet "Chunky" brand soups would be fine at room temperature...

Not straight out of the can, I don't.
However, when I put it (Condensed Soup) in the pot, I add little or no water to it, depending on the soup.

There was an old guy in my town who went into congestive heart failure because he did this three times a day because of the sodium.

Not that adding water will reduce the amount of sodium but just too much sodium all together.

He is fine now...
