Anyone else drinking on a Tuesday night?

So my roommate and I went to pub quiz at Stetson's tonight (funny thing--during the music round, where they play music clips and we have to guess artist and song, they played Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up!) After that, my roommate told me he didn't have to be at work until 10am, so we went to Chi Cha Lounge and had a few more drinks, while befriending a bartender and a cute waitress. I realize how much cooler DC is on a weekday, when it's just locals, vs. on the weekends. Anyone else from the working world going out on a Tuesday night?

Also it takes :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: to put me at slightly tipsy, so it's absolutely not worth it for me to go out to drink, and not even worth it to drink in private.

Edit: Each :beer: = 1 US "standard" drink

No, like he said, one US "standard" drink... That piss they call beer down takes about 20 beers to equal one normal beer .

I'm 27, 235 pounds, and I had 19 beers on the first day of spring break and never really got a buzz. Some people just have a higher tolerance.

60 hrs a week at work, 20 hours a week downtown. Tuesday nights is college night (My class of '04 card still works), 1 free shot and 2 dollar dom\well at The Bishop. There's a special every night of the week man. No harm if you can still work at full efficiency the next day.

When I still worked a blue collar job me and my buddies went out an average of 3 times a week, which was great. I used to love doing that, but now I've gotta wake up before noon so I don't do that any more.

He only drank Coors light though, which explains it.

a few of us here at AT have pub quiz tonight. I've been waiting to get Rickrolled during the music round. it has yet to happen....and we did have an 80s pop round once...
