Sucks that it took you this long to realize that you were gay. Get yourself a chihuahua that you can dress-up in cute clothes.

I can see that happening. I'm a dude and would like a female kid. Something about men being scum;).

I also see myself getting over it after the initial "aw eff, not what I wanted".

It seems to me that you were expecting a girl and now those expectations will not be realized. Your reaction is normal for one who's expectations are not met. Realize that a mistake was made with the determination of your child's sex and develop new expectations accordingly. You will be fine.

With your expectations to have a girl, you most likely started thinking forward about how life will be with a baby girl. Now, those dreams will not be met because you found out that your baby will be a boy instead of a girl. Not to worry, just start thinking how life will be like with a baby boy and you will look forward to these experiences.

Possibly the most important concept in any business client service position, such as an account manager, is to manage the client's expectations. It is bad to let a client expect to receive something and then not deliver this expectation to them. Similarly, it can be bad to fail to meet a manager's expectations in an aspect such as job performance.

Yeah, I pretty much called it. ATOT Righteous Brigade, front and center.

And it's hilarious to see the opinions of so many nerds that have yet to have sex, much less have children.

I can somewhat understand someone being disappointed in not having a certain sex for a baby, but to not want to take part
in the pregnanacy is the most ignorant thing I have ever heard.

So, you're in full support of the OP just for being so experienced in plugging a chick with your dick?

yeah, that's exactly it, I must be wrong because of my age, and you're definitely omniscent, aren't you? I'm not saying anything different, only when I say something, I write it out so that it's worth reading.

I doubt you're any older than me, and if you are, you sound no more experienced.

(In other words, shut the fuck up).

Well, I have seen some retarded threads posted on ATOT by posters with obvious mental problems, but this one is right up there. I personally think someone should track down the OPs contact information and send a copy of this thread to his wife. Then he wouldn't have to worry about it......

Geezus Christmas man, with that 'how dare you think that way' attitude I guess we know where you stand on abortion now.. at least he's being honest and open about how he feels, would you prefer he bottle up his true feelings and just accept what chance gives him? Some people just can't accept the gift they are given if it's not exactly what they want.

I never said "how dare you think that way," I wasn't challenging how he thought at all, I just said, what he was feeling/saying was absolutely retarded.

He's welcome to keep thinking that way, but it doesn't make it any less retarded.

Retarded as in, twisted, backward, and certainly not the attitude of anyone who has big balls, metaphorically speaking.

'What the fuck is wrong with people' is that they are all DIFFERENT and don't necessarily share the same likes/dislikes/philosophies/etc.. as you do. Yeah most people are happy simply bringing a baby into the world and love it no matter if it's boy/girl, deformed/healthy, black/white, and so on.. but it's not exactly an abomination to the degree you make it out to be disappointed by not getting the gender you wanted. Now if the OP seriously plans on loving it any less because it's not a girl that's another sad story, but I'm sure he'll appreciate it when the time comes regardless.

Granted, some people are different, however, most people are the same. I'm not saying that you can't be disapointed a little bit, but to exhibit this amount of indifference over something that is so rediculous over "I'm so disapointed, I can't buy it cute clothes" almost sounds sick. Sure, I know how he feels, but to be "indifferent" and not support his fucking wife who he helped impregnate is also messed up.

There is something called love, which most people do incorporate into their philisophies, and that concept called love sure should extend to their children. Other members have said better what I would say now, which is disapointment can happen, I'm not saying that's bad, but his overall attitude, and some of the following comments are just plain ridiculous and deserve raised eyebrows and ridicule.

hire richard simmons as a nanny, you'll get your cute girl soon enough

in all seriousness, i can totally understand some disappointment as i know i would badly want a baby boy and if it was a girl id be disappointed. but i think saying you have no excitement for your very own kid now is kind of extreme and a bit worrying. this isnt like not getting the bmw color you wanted here.

how is that the wrong sex???

let's get some back story. you're the father and you don't want a male child?

Well I wanted a girl, but thought I wouldn't care too much either way... until I found out.

And yes I'm a father that doesn't want a male child. I don't care about sports at all, so I'm not obsessed with havong a son to throw balls to. and all of the boy baby clothes are all sports or truck themed.

usually it's about keeping the family name alive...you know, since usually women take their husbands' surnames.

Try to remain positive. It could very well turn out to have been a mistake and your child will actually be a hermaphrodite. Failing that, he could still be a gaylord. And in any case, there is nothing stopping you from dressing him in cute clothes and dainty curls. That's what Henry Lee Lucas' mother did.

I don't know man, on this forum, there are many people who treat animals better than fellow human beings, e.g. Children die in the millions in Africa? Meh, who gives a fuck. Your rat died? ZOMG, that's the saddest thing ever! /tear

I don't see anything new going on here... let him feel disappointed, I mean if I tried to make something and I "failed" I'd be upset too
