I'm in the exact same situation: 10 week internship, nothing to do so I surf AT forums all day (as well as bash and slashdot). Switch to something work related whenever I hear footsteps approaching...

The other day I was falling asleep while reading some hardware reviews when I hear some clomping coming towards my cube. I managed to wake up and open some work stuff right when they turned the corner. Turns out they had something for me to work on =P woulda been funny if they saw me slumped over in front of case reviews.
 
One and a half hours of being insanely bored left to endure. Not to mention they are working on the air conditioner for the third time in a week so coupled with 95 degrees outside it's rather steamy in here. I am bored and hot. What a combo.
