This sucks, I just dropped $47 in prescriptions at Osco Drug last night. I am taking Amoxicillian, Zyrtec-D, and Rhinocort and I still feel like azz today. My mom seems to think I have had allergies all along and just now did they start to get really bad.

I wonder what triggered this? I am miserable. :disgust:

My allergies have gotten better since I stopped taking claritin. I don't know why the f I was taking it in the first place.

You don't have bad alergies until they cause alergy-induced asthma and put you in the hospital for passing out with a low oxygen saturation level and such.

Yeah my girlfriend has had some bad allergies lately, they just started, it's weird because the worst month for me is May. Got her some OTC allergy medicine and she's doing alright now.

i'm in the same boat as OP. they've tapered off over the past couple years... but i NEVER had allergies growing up then one year during summer i was suddenly miserable every day.

i even broke out with a rash.

allergies suck. not much you can do about it. allegra helped me some.

might also want to look into an air filtration system if you don't already have one. and try and keep your house as clean as possible... you might not specifically have dust allergies... but dust certainly doesn't help.

All of those decongestants will cause liver damage if taken for a prolonged time. My wife works with some natural healing folks, and she gave me a bottle of Sinufix. It's an all natural thing. I didn't think it would work (I'm kind of skeptical about this stuff).

It actually works! I used to be a big-time hay fever sufferer, and lately I would get real bad sinus headaches. Sinufix seems to work great for me. YMMV, but it might be worth a try.

Well, amoxicillin is only 20 pills non-refillable, and I don't see how Rhinocort nasal spray will cause liver damage (pardon the ignorance). Although I did schedule blood work for allergies, cholesterol, and liver counts while I was in.

I really only have problems when the Santa Ana winds blow that hot dry air up from Mexico. Fortunately, we haven't had many Santa Anas lately.
