If you get a chance to go to the Caribbean and do this, you should definitely do so.

You are taken out into the middle of the ocean and you stand on a sandbar.

The stingrays, some as wide as 5-6 feet, swim right up to you and even bump into you looking for food.

You bring squid with you, hold it in your hand, and they suck it right out.

Too cool!

Yep, then there is Cayman Brac

It has one of the most fantastic views you will ever see on the East tip of the island, sheer cliffs & water on 3 sides, nothing in sight except blue ocean.

the diving is good too & turtle steak ? great !!!

not as many people as on Grand Cayman.

I've never been to the Cayman Islands before (unfortunately), but I have swam with a ton of stingrays before. It was great. They sure love squid.

Even though I'm from the Caribbean I must say the Caymans are the most beautiful of the Caribbean islands. Swimming with the Stingrays was a nightmare. After seeing so many movies of the killer stingrays from outer space I thought they'd wanna kill me.

Locust, isn't it amazing how far out to sea you can actually walk? On my island 5ft away from shore is enough to drown you.

I've been there! At first, when they dropped us off, I was scared as hell.. the damn Stingrays are everywhere.. but as long as you don't have food, they will leave you alone. Eventually I got brave enough and would swim after them.. but there was no way in hell I was going to feed them...

BTW, Locutus, did they explain to you what a "Stingray Hickey" was? :)

A lot more to swim with the dolphins. Try that and you'll never go back.
