I didn't quite like the ending. Did anyone else feel the same way about it?

PS don't post how it ends and wreck it for the people who haven't gotten there yet.

I didn`t really like it either, but with this ending they can make an mission CD, with even more Unique and set items. :)

I'm on the second Act. Ugghh. In a single player game, the dungeons shouldn't repopulate when you resume a saved game. It's gonna be a while before I beat it, because I usually don't play for more than 30 minutes at a time (enough to get me to the next way point, if I'm lucky).

I finally beat it last night, and yeah I agree, the ending was a bit of a let down, but not as much as the actual fight with the big D himself. My friend and I (sorceress and barbarian, respectively) took him out a lot faster than I thought.

I actually liked the ending alot, can I hear Diablo3 :)

Anyways, I beat it almost a week and a half ago. I am trying to beat it with a Sorceress now. I beat it with a paladin. The Sorceress has made the game real easy up through act 2.

glad I'm not the only one that thought it was lacking something. And I agree diablo was just too easy, I mean c'mon the boss at the end of act 1 only killed me 3 more times than diablo did :)

Question: What are you supposed to do with "Wirt's Leg"? None of the merchants in town will have it.

Sax: after beating the game on normal, go back in that game on normal and go to the Rouge Encampment. Place Wirts Leg and a tome of town portal in the Horodric cube, and look out.

another tip, COPY your save directory before you do this... you're going to get KILLED in that level and there's no way around that.

I'm only about finished with Act 2. But, I'm not hooked like I was with Diablo and Hellfire. Why not?

Do y'll have problems with jerkiness and laggyness when there are a lot of active creatures surrounding you (single player/local machine)? Seems that it started for me somewhere in Act 2.

No problems on an athlon 650 or tbird 750... oh, and I had a gut feeling that the person involved in the ending was who he was, since the end of act 2. It feels good to be "Sir Ivan". I didnt even have to TP once during the fight with Diablo... just kept leap attacking and stunning... weak. Oh well, hope for a much better time in nightmare :)

I saw the DVD that came with diablo 2 in the collector's ed. and i saw the ending there before i saw it after beating diablo with my necromancer. It was an ok ending, and i'm sure sometime in the year 2005 or so (after Warcraft III and starcraft II come out), Diablo 3 will be out. Gotta kill that Baal guy.

For me, the Secret Cow level was kinda easy and dumb, all I did was let my fire golem take 'em out by exploding when he dies. Just kept on repeating that...

Nightmare level is a little harder, but with all my items and experience, I'm flying through the acts faster than I did on normal.

still a great game

Well...Andariel (Act I boss) and her minions did beat up Diablo, Baal, and Mephisto a long time ago as stated in the quest. :)

Andariel was harder than Diablo, given the approximate level of the characters involved!

depends, usually i beat andariel at lvl's 10-12. Diablo I beat at around 27-35 (depends on the character, some char's are easier to get exp).
