Anyone dual booting XP 32bit and XP Pro 64 bit?

hello, I've finally entered the 64 bit arena, with my A64 2800+, and noticed the beta test available of XP Pro 64bit eddition. I read a post here when I searched the forums that suggested dual booting to play arround with it. I'm just wondering if anyone that has done/is doing this can offer their impressions, as to wether it's worthwhile, or just something I'll never use?

i have been running 32 and 64 bit windows on my machine for about a month and a half. i had to install an 80gb drive because i couldn't find a 64bit raid driver. it does run good and it it is pretty fast. there isn't really any software that i find useful yet. i find it kind of interesting though, being one of the few able to run the windows os of the future. i guess i should start trying some 32 bit stuff to see if there is any difference.

I just installed 64-bit XP on my partitioned hard drive. Originally Windows 32-bit XP was installed on C drive. Now I have a K drive (partitioned in same drive as C) with 64-bit XP.

After the 64-bit windows installation is completed, I reboot the system expecting a prompt asking me which windows to boot. I got no such prompt! It just kept on loading 32-bit window. Now I wish I installed the 64-bit window in physically different drive. Then I could at least go in to bios and change hard drive boot preference!!

Does any one know how to get around this issue?

Modify boot.ini

I have a raptor split 45/25 for Pro/X64. I mainly go into Pro more than anything else. I only go into X64 rarely. I only did it to play with the new OS and to see what it was all about.

I also keep almost all my files on a 160gb SATA drive, so i can access them from either OS.
