Ironwing - the limited visibility doesn't bother you?

I think it's a really nice vehicle but the poor visibility makes me shy away. I'm hoping they'll come out with an update that provides better rear and side visibility.

The rear visibility is easily taken care of by using the mirrors. My previous vehicle was a pickup with cap so the rear visibility really isn't much different.

The wide A pillars are more of a problem than the rear. At stop lights, I have to lean forward to make sure there isn't anything hiding there, particularly on the passenger side.

i've seen reports of broken rear differentials and the chassis breaking in places.

I havent heard of the chassis issues, but the rear diff is only a problem in those built before feb 2007.

I was offroading at Rausch Creek in PA the other weekend (a pretty intense offroad park) and there was a group of about 25 FJ's that only did the green trails and at the end of the day they were all clean as hell and I don't think they had driven more than a dirt road. I could still see Armor All or whatever on most of their tires.

I know I shouldn't judge the vehicle on a bunch of pussies who had no business in an offroad park but after that I can't respect it.
