At work we have a dress down day with a red theme.... wooo!

Personally I really am not a fan of comic relief, and I hate Lenny Henry... but it's for a good cause and all that.

Anyone here in baths of beans, etc?

It is in the UK. Comic relief is a Comedy based Telethon run by the BBC. It's become a national institution now and raises Millions of £££'s each year for the hungry and needy all around the globe.

Despite the OP's view, which I can understand to a point, it IS very popular.

I've seen the show on television before...but i had no idea it was a certain day. In fact, i didn't even realize they still did it.

Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate it and I love the sense of community that we get in Britain twice a year (Children in Need). I love the effort that the country puts in to provide for the needy.

I do contribute, but I'm not much of a fan of the show... it's too "Noel's House Party"-esq for me 🙂

Wow. I remember the annual Comic Relief that Bob Zumuda started back in the day. didn't know it was special day in the UK.
