Anyone do the "Work from Home" online thing?

Just wondering if anyone actually does the work from home stuff wher eyou sign up with some online company and then use their system to work from home...

I've seen some where you sell items from a catalog at a set price and you get half of it.
I've seen ones where it's something about processing FedEx and UPS refunds and you get half of what the company gets.
I've seen lots of others as well.

I'd love to earn some extra cash since I'm on the computer all the time anyway but have no way of knowing which (if any) of these systems are actually real.

So, in case anyone has experience with any of them, let me (us) know.
 
Anybody can do affiliate sales, there are plenty of websites who have these programs some good and some bad. There are also many people who operate stores (both web and B&M) who only stock limited goods and rely comletely on drop shipping for any expensive item. The only problem is that you need buyers.

Never heard of processing Fedex or UPS refunds before... got a link?
 
My dad and I are going to a seminar about this very thing tomorrow. Free lunch and I am curious what kind of scam it really is.
 
hate to post a link but check this site out. Visit their forum(on your right) to learn more about this kind of stuff. I just got into it 3 weeks ago myself. Going good so far. I spent 4 days reading and researching before making my first buy,but this one is looking very promising.

Everytime I see those commercials, I have the feeling they're just having you peddle their cheap crap. It's like being a door to door salesman, but you're just doing it online. You'd probably make more selling Tupperware or Pampered Chef stuff. Or better yet, sell adult toys 😀
 
Most of stay at home you see in newspapers are scams(99.9999%)
Basically they'll ask you do put the same add and charge like $29.99 for it.

There's also one where you have to make necklaces,but the rules are made so strict that you'll never get paid.

How about staffing envelopes(advertising above stuff...)? They'll tell you at the end that it's based on commision and no one signed up from your batch!

My Company hires a third party to do this for us. What the link says is true. the overnight carriers pocket all unclaimed refunds. The problem is that most of the claims on service failures are explained away as an incorrect address, the store wasn't open, no one was home, acts of God, etc. Also, you have to enlist "clients", or businesses, to sign a contract with you., and that could be tough, since a zillion other people are already doing this. Plus, you probably won't be able to negotiate a 50% cut of the refunds if you do manage to land a company that does any sizeable overnight business. Like my company, typically the shipper gets 75-80% and you're left with 20% or so............. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't see many making lots of money on this!
