I installed it a month or so ago when I heard about it. I have no idea what its' doing or how much I'm helping as it only seems to count the amount of time it's running on the phone and doesn't show you actual WUs or results or anything. Kind of lame in that respect but I'm assuming it's doing some good behind the scenes.

I have not run folding, but have boinc on my android devices. My devices crunch away all night long when plugged in. Though I've had quite a few recently error out on ogr, probably due to temperature problems.

I tried putting Boinc on my phone but when I picked World Community Grid I couldn't log on with the stuff I normally use so I don't know what it's looking for.

I've had trouble with WCG on several PC's too, wouldn't join the project unless I downloaded the WCG version of the BOINC manager.

I can't get my 'droid to get tasks for GPUGrid, but no problems with WCG. Asteroids runs well also.

I have WCG on a bunch of laptops and had no trouble with that at all. But when I installed Boinc on my GS5, it prompted me to log on and it wont' take the same thing works within Boinc for WCG on the laptops. Ah well.

I've been using the NativeBoinc android app. It hasn't been updated in awhile, but it's still running well on a variety of devices. I've successfully run Einstien@home, Milkyway, Asteroids, WCG (Ebola and Aids), and Collatz.

The only app that gave me problems (crashes) was Yoyo@Home OGR.
