I, and my family, would really like to start one up this spring, but there are LOTS of critters around here; rabbits, raccoons etc. How the hell do you keep those little bastards from eating your crops? I don't want to go through all the trouble of building the garden to just be feeding the local wildlife population. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Edit: We just want a small garden in our small backyard. Something the kids will enjoy planting and caring for, and in time eating the fruits of their labors. HOPEFULLY getting them to eat some more vegetables along the way too.
