I use 3300~. The noise at 4800rpm is ridiculous, good thing I'm going water again. Sweet silence.

My Smart Fan II was just too much for me. It developed a ticking noise at low speed and was just much more of a vacuum cleaner than I like at high speed.

I just put my water cooler back in today as I couldn't take it anymore. I was using a normal 2700 rpm case fan on my AX-478 heatsink and was getting about the same temps as the Smart Fan on high. But my water cooler lowered my temps by 10C under load. (Didn't change idle temps at all though......???) My pump on my water cooler is failing to start up all the time (not going to shut it off either), but I ordered a new one (Danner Supreme Mag Drive Model 5 - 500 gph) and am going to pray it lasts me until the new one comes.

I had a danner mag 5 in a evaporating tower setup. Great pump. Strong, quiet (with impellar mod), and realiable.
