Anyone connect to AIM via their phones

If so, how do they charge you? Free connection, text message price for each message sent and received, or per kb usage?

Edit: Have already contacted Cingular. Limited knowledge on the subject.
Some phones use one, some use the other. He doesn't know why and his boss doesn't know why.

Can you stay on for a while and only be charged for connecting once if you never get any messages? Or is it a continious charge, like when it refreshes your buddylist or something?
Mine does not give an amount of kb used.

I pay 20$ a month for unlimited data, and use verichat on my Treo to stay connected all day. No SMS usage.

I stopped using it since no one msged me...But I'm with helpme I have unlimited data. I probably use 100MB/month of data transfer...i just wish it as faster. I'd really like to find out more about those high speed networks, mother dearest still plays for my phone so I wont switch until she stops 😉
