Anyone compare performance between single Xeon 5160 @ 3.0GHZ on Intel 5000x chipset
And CORE 2 DUO E6850 @ 3.0GHZ on p35, p965, p975 chipsets.

I'm sure there are.

The E6850 will probably win most of them as it doesn't use FB-dimms which increase latency. If you have the 5160 set up with quad channel memory it may win the tests that are very bandwidth dependant. Then again you could just overclock your E6850
