Did you see the second "crib"? WTF was that all about? Three-bed shack with huge stains visible on the carpet smack in the middle of the Atlanta 'hood. One guy introduces his son (looked to be about 8) who promptly flashed some gang signs for the camera......empty 40oz bottles everywhere....it was totally bizarre.

Yeah, I saw that. Nice contrast to the usual cribs fare, but still odd...

Did you guys ever see Redman's townhouse on Cribs? The doorbell was just some wires sticking out of the wall, his blinds were all messed up...it pretty much looked like a regular house.

You obviously haven't seen specs on the latest batch of liter bikes. They're pretty silly.

Yeah, Fausto that was supposedly the crib of the Youngbloodz. I found that very odd as well since they have to be making more money than that but what do I know. Then again it was almost a refreshing change and rarely seen instance on that show (Methodman aside as has been said) where my place looks better than theirs. LOL.

Haha... that was hilarious. You are so used to seeing awesome cribs. They were playing Super Tecmo Bowl for Sega Genesis! HahAhAhA!

And they had Colt 45 bottles everywhere.

Still, motorcycles aren't known for torque, nor are they known for hooking up with lots of torque. Make a movie about trucks and name that torque. Motorcycles should be "revvin'" or something like that. They have freaking 14k redlines!

Yeah, i saw the end of that segment last night. Looked like that house was probably worth like 20k at the most. The nicest things they had was their cars.

I also found the director's house kinda disturbing. THis huge home with like 1 peice of furniture in it. He sleeps on a twin matress on the floor. Just odd.

See, that's what I don't understand. They aren't exactly a new group. Are they choosing that lifestyle or is it really due to having less money than I think they would? I mean they aren't as wealthy as Outkast but hell you'd think they woulda made some $ by now.

Actually, if it's where I think it is (Kirkwood) then it's probably worth at least 100k thanks to the "gentrification" price inflation in that neighborhood. I'm sure the folks I know who have bought and fixed up homes in that area will make some nice loot in a few years, but they have to listen to nightly gunfire and shoo crackheads off their front porches in the meantime. ;)

That house was in Stapleton where he's from. Method Man lives in the same area but in a much bigger/nicer home...

Cool. I thought it was neat to not see some gigantic house for once.

Call me weird, but if my home were going to be on national TV, I'd tidy up a bit. :p

Yea, you would think that they could come up with a more fitting name, but no, people are stupid.

It's a movie. They picked something that sounded good. No one going to see this POS cares.

I guess you didn't see the recent Ep I'm referring to. Made Redman's place look like a palace.

hahaha... well then I have to see it. I haven't watched MTV in a while. To many dating shows on that damn channel.
But how can you beat someone passed out sleeping on the floor, eating frozen fish filets grilled on a george foreman, and a doorbell that you have to rub two wires together? :D

Gunfire and crackheads increase property value?

This place was smaller and infinitely dirtier. I wasn't kidding about the huge stains on the carpet. You could see them in several shots.

It's an area that was nice, became the 'hood, and is now becoming nice again. This makes it a "hot intown property" and jacks the prices up because everyone wants to get in ahead of the game and make some money once all the shitheads have been run out of the area. This is happening everywhere in town now that commuting from further out takes at least an hour.

Hahha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the title was a misnomer. I guess they figure the general population doesn't know much about motorcycles, and hey, torque sounds pretty cool for a movie about fast machinery, so let's go with that.....:disgust:

Torque is all relative anyway. 80 ft/lbs is a lot when you're talking about a 400-pound bike since at some point you'll either wheelie or break the rear end loose. I had to be careful taking passengers on my Triumph as too much throttle and they'd start sliding off the back end of the bike. :D
