Anyone carve a pumpkin with a dremel?

I'm just wondering how plausible an idea this is. I have a dremel, and it seems like it would be easier to do than the old-fashioned low-tech way of using knife...

Never tried it. I wouldn't doubt someone on here would try it though. You people love your dremels.

Don't do it, I did it last year and it took me 2.5 hours to clean up the mess and take a shower.

I thought of trying that myself but I didn't know if the cutting would get too hot or bee too hard on the...pumpkin skin....thing :)

Yep. Tried it myself a couple years ago, pumpkin splatter everywhere. It's kinda like sawdust, only it's wet and sticky and flies.

But as for the dremel....yeah, it'd seem cool, but the mess would be horrible to clean up
