Anyone care to talk me out of buying a ASUS P4T533?

If you don't think I should buy it, why and what would you recommend instead?

I've heard recent buyers have been getting good boards with no problems. I'm thinking of testing my luck.

Just so you know, I've already been there, done that with the P4S8X, P4T533-C, and GA-8IHXP2 and I don't want to go back.

Also, anyone here have a P4T533 that works with zero problems?

Thanks,

Since nobody is trying to talk me out of it, I guess it's safe to buy one of these now! Thanks,

They're still having troubles on Hardforms as far as I can tell, but best of luck! I hope it works out for you, and if so, then that's awesome!

'nuff said.

Damn, 99 pages of gripes and complaints! Just read a few of them jumping around a bit but it seems as though playing russian roulette with 2 bullets would be better odds than buying this board. Keep in mind that I love ASUS and use one of their boards right now. I hope you haven't ordered yet.

OK you guys have talked me out of it! ;)

Actually, I was doing some research and discovered that ASUS will be releasing the P4PE with the new Intel i845PE chipset next week. This will be the board I buy.

I've read somewhere that Asus (P4T533) is coming out with a revision of the board soon.
