Writing a letter to the family friends that took care of me for part of my stay in Japan. I am writing them a card but thought I'd run it by ATOT first (just for kicks). Feel free to add comments. I can't add too much though, I have to fit it on a card before I meet with them tomorrow.
"Dear [family friends],
Words cannot express the generosity and care you both have shown towards [my gf], my family and myself during the last few weeks. I have truly cherished my time here in Japan, much of which is thanks to the effort you both have put forth. I deeply appreciated and enjoyed the trip to Kusatsu as well as all the lovely things along the way. Rest assured that this trip will never be forgotten as long as I live. The greatest of my expectations fell well short of what I experienced during my time here.
It was a pleasure and an honor to meet both of you during my stay. I truly want to thank you both on behalf of [my gf], my family and myself. Again, thank you so very much."
