I have been buying from La Colombe or Intelligentsia. Anywhere else I should check out?

Kuma Coffee has been great to me. It was recommended to me by my 100% total coffee snob coworker, and I trust his judgement completely with these things.

As someone who has historically not been a coffee drinker, I got into it when my daughter was born. Their Bright blend is awesome, and the Mama Bear 1/2 decaf is great for when you have a pregnant Mrs. in the house.

I've ordered from Resistance Coffee before as I like their cause, but unfortunately they decided to close down operations. Typically I just buy locally though. Most grocery stores carry Kick Ass brand which I found to be pretty good. Come to think of it any coffee in form of bean tends to be pretty good. I sometimes still buy a can of brand name stuff like Maxwell House or Tim Horton's though as it's just cheap and half decent, but the beans are always better. Typically the preground coffee is what I use at work.

George Howell from Boston and Tandem from Portland ME. Both arrive to my door with roast dates a day or two prior.

I used to order a lot from Brooklyn roasting company, great quality and reasonable pricing and I like the tins they package in.

More recently have been ordering Katz which is roasted here in Houston.

Our favorite roaster is probably Door County Coffee.

But, we also order from evil empire inc prime. Often stuff like "Community Coffee" because IMO it is the "bang for the buck" champion of taste and value.
