Anyone buying a Titan?

Anyone got a read on availability? Looks like most places have sold out of their initial stock at this point. Anyone got info to the contrary?

EDIT: Looks like Amazon has preorders up for EVGA SC and SC Signature now, probably going to get in line for a SC... can always cancel before it ships.

My first one came today, and my second should be here tomorrow, gotta keep your head on a swivel!

Me and Dookey wiped out the regular EVGA model when it came out Saturday night.

The overclocked EVGA cards came out late last night and were actually in stock for a good 4 or 5 hours.

I ordered it before newegg even had time to update the image. That's how you gotta do it 🙂

My Gigabyte is on my way. So i think i will replay a lot of my GPU-PhysX-Games:
Batman:AA, Batman:AC, Alice, Mirrors Edge, Mafia 2 and maybe Borderlands 2.

Oh i should not forget the best looking game out there: Crysis 2. Take that Crytek and AMD for cutting Tessellation in a big way away from Crysis 3.

LOL

And actually I agree. Some parts of scenery really do need Tesselation badly

Fact of the matter is there was too much tessellation on unnecessary objects. I really didn't need your sarcastic remark.

Fact of the matter is the performance impact of Tessellation in Crysis 2 is much lower than the one i get with Forward+ on Kepler in Dirt:Showdown.

Hm, i think my "sarcastic remark" was spot on.

In short, No. And I figure by the time the price drops enough to justify it Maxwell will be around the corner. A G?104 Maxwell will hopefully give similiar performance to the Titan. So I'll be on the lookout for the G?104 if I don't go with AMD, considering we'll probably never see the "110" at a reasonable price again, imo.

Edit: No offense to you Titan owners but I hope the Titan doesn't sell well at a grand. Maybe at least Nvidia would then start pricing the 110 flagship model at around $699, still high but a lot more considerable.

There is a possablity that the Titan could fall in price over the comming months. Early adopters always pay more.
