And if you did, what's the packing date? I sent email to customer service but was told that it can't be verified before sale. Thanks.
 
I ordered a 1.8A from Newegg middle of last week. Unfortunatly Fedex is taking their own good time getting here. I expect it here today or tomorrow. My order got split somehow and I got two fedex tracking numbers. One is coming today and one tomorrow, I just don't know what will be in the box I get today. Anyway as soon as I get it I will post all the info on the chip.
 
Well Fedex just came. I have everything but my cpu for my new computer. Unfortuantly I have to work tomorrow and will probly miss the Fedex guy. If I do I will try to got to the Fedex Station and get it. I really wish it would have game today. I now have a new case, ram, MB, video card, and HD's just waiting for it. Also my Radeon 8500le 128meg bulk from newegg has 3.6 infineon memory is that good? Is it easy to put the Intel heatsink on with mother board installed in the case or should I install it before I put it inside the case? If so I will install everything but the cpu and heatsink tonight. Sound like a good idea? The case does not have a removable MB tray.

:Q I have a feeling that SL63x is gonna scream.The new 1.8a's have been hitting unreal clock speeds lately.Seems like the chance's are real good right now with the 1.8a.I think its the CPU of choice at this time.I know a couple other guys in my town hit over 3gig with them,newer dates just recently.A guy in a computer store here I know thats been putting systems together for companys says he's been hitting high with the 1.8a CPU he's testing of late.

Dude that almost killed me. Why did my cpu not come? They could have waited on the video card. I could live with built in video for a day or two. Anyway I just wanted over 2.4. I was hoping for 2.7 with DDR 400. Now I find out I may get more than that. I wish the package had tracking device in it, so I could track down the truck and get it today. I don't have anything else to do today. OK, nothing I want to do, stupid thesis.
 
CU - hahah, I totally know how it feels ot have all the computer parts and missing the cpu or mobo., it's just a waiting game =) gl!
