I remember a few members here talking about the jewelry from blue nile. Generally from what i remember they liked the designs and the prices were very good. Good quality stuff without having to pay a huge premium from brand name.

I kid you not, I got the same earrings for my wife for X-mas, only they were the 1/2 carat t.w. ones.

To answer the O.P.'s question, yes, Blue Nile is very reputable. You shouldn't have any issues with them before or after the sale.

Yeah my sisters and I have bought jewelry for our mom. My soon-to-be brother-in-law bought a 1.5 carat diamond from them for my sister's engagement ring. So yeah, they're reputable.
