Anyone buy any gold (coins) online?

Looking for opinions about various websites that sell gold bullion. I would like to gift gold coins to some members of my family. I am not particular about the 'collectable' value of the coin. I do care about getting the best bang for my buck.

Um, those Sacagawea dollars aren't real gold...as evidenced by the price ($35.95 for a roll of 25).

I use bulliondirect.com to buy my gold and silver.

You don't need mint proof coins if you aren't a really serious collector. I split my buys between US Eagles and Canadian Maple Leaf coins.

What if I want to buy a gold bar? I've always wanted one of those. You know... the nice shiny ones like you see in the movies...

Heh... apparently you can find them... provided you can afford them.

Thanks. The prices on Nucleo are pretty nice. Have you used this exchange? What has your experience been?
