Anyone buy a Radeon 8500 "LE" or "OEM"?

If anyone did buy one, what is the clock speed of it? I searched the web and every relevant page seems to agree that the LE and the OEM 8500 are the same, and clocked at 250/500 (GPU/RAM). However, Newegg.com has it's Radeon "LE" OEM listed as being 230mhz core. there is even one review where someone says they got it and it runs at 230mhz. Has anyone else had this happen or are they just mistaken? I am kinda concerned now as I can get the 250mhz version from another site for the same price, but I went with Newegg because I like them better. Thanks

The one I bought from Newegg earlier this month did not have the 'LE' tag on the description. It was clocked 250/250 with 4ns ram. It appears they are starting to sell ones with only 230mhz core now. I'm glad I got mine when I did. 😉

There are two different kinds out now.

Most of them are 250/250, but some have started being released from some japanese company at 230/230.

Haven't heard from anybody that has gotten one of the 230's yet, so don't know how they OC.

If you're thinking of ordering, I would make sure o verify specs before hand.
