I just completed my first model in about 4 years, quite well I might add. A friend from school had the idea to build some now that we have the patience to do them right. Anyway, everything is ready to go, but I have yet to decide on the paint job.
I wanted to go with the standard Apache scheme, but am now thinking of doing the NOD chopper from Command and Conquer. It's an airforce gray basically, i think it would look really cool with the appropriate detailing and decals.
Thoughts?
Question: The model plastic is a deep khaki green, and I'm going to a light gray, how many coats of primer if any will it take roughly?
