anyone break 7K in 3DMark05 with an X850XT/PE?

I'm sure you can do it if you do a volt mod . . .

I was at about 6809 with my Winnie 3500+ @ 2.601, G.Skill LE @ 289 2.5-4-3-7, X850XT PE @ 600/624 using CAT 5.9... Now I'm running a 4400+ @ 2.706, OCZ Plat EB @ 246 2.5-3-2-7, X850XT PE @ 601/628 using CAT 5.11... I will see if I can do it... If not, I might see if I can squeeze my 4400+ to 2.750 and the RAM to 250 2.5-3-2-7 and the X850XT PE to 605/630... if I can get it stable at those speeds...

My X850XT PE is not volt modded... but it is using an ATI Silencer 5 rev. 2 and some AS5

im trying to with my x800 XT but i think i need a volt mod but the intructions are kinda confusing, \\i think my score is 6700? 540/575?

Try a volt mod and see if you can get 650-700 on that core. Some have gone past 700 core with a volt mod . . .

well will teh pencil mod work by it self? or what...do i have to do both mods? i dont really get it....and is it reversable?

just about touched 6900 without a voltmod...maybe if i OC my CPU a little bit more i may just touch 7K.

It might but 3DMark05 is very un-cpu limited . . . (at least when it comes to single-card systems)

The pencil mod is fine. Dont need to do a second 1. And if u dont tape over the peciled area, the graphite will fall off.

If my sempron 3100 paris (2.069 Ghz OC) + x850xtagp stock can score 6100+, sure someone can hit the 7000 pretty good
