How much do the Acura dealers haggle from sticker price? I am looking to buy an RSX soon, I want to know what to expect.

mmmm RSX ... sooo nice.

You just convinced me to go to the Acura web page and check them out, and I must say, that RSX 6-speed looks hot. too bad its 23,000+ more than I have :-\

then get the type s man, it's much more powerful and lots more fun to drive!!! the non type s is slow and way underpowered.

anyway, i got the acrura tl type s last summer and i paid 500 over invoice, so it's like more than 1500 below sticker (i believe i paid around sticker out of the door)

for the rsx, the non type s actually isn't in that great demand i believe compared to when it first came out. i think at most you pay 1k over invoice, that's what i heard from my salesman last time. for other models (cl and tl) you pay from 500 to 800 over invoice most of the time

btw, this is in cali. where are you located? that makes a difference too

The RSX Type-S is really nice for the price. I'm holding off for the Mazda RX-8. :)

for me i would really wait for the come-back of the rsx coz' of the evo-vii and also the skyline that will come into the states later on.

but yeah, to me acura is always best bang for the bucks. you don't get the best, but you get the most. if you really want the best you will need to fork out more

I got my '97 GS-R sedan for $20.5k + fees, which was somewhere btwn $500 and $800 over "invoice" (I forget) Do your research on edmunds.com and on carsdirect.com like TurtleNeck said... what I'd do is equip one on carsdirect like I wanted, and if I liked the price, print it out and bring it to a dealer and say "I can get this for this much at carsdirect. Can you beat it?" If they can't at least match it, just take it to carsdirect. On a different note, why do you want an RSX? Why not the WRX :) Best bang for the buck for <$25k. I haven't driven an RSX Type-S yet though so I don't know what I'm missing, but I think $20k+ for basically a little Civic (speaking about my Integra here) wasn't worth it. How is the RSX? Has the build quality improved for Acura? The TL/CL/RL/NSX are nice... not "typical" Honda, but I think an Integra is a disgrace to the Acura namesake. At least that's my opinion. I can't say anything about the RSX though because I haven't driven one yet.
