Anyone bought a nice Core Duo desktop motherboard..?

There seem to be a few floating around right now. The Core Duo chips aren't really that expensive, about the same as an AMD64 at the same speeds. Seems like they would be ideal for a quiet desktop, or an HTPC. Or is everyone saving their pennies for the new chips from Intel?
