Which PCB version did you get? It's on sale for 130 shipped. Really want to get one since my old K7s5a just died yesterday.

got mine 2 weeks ago when it was $135..... right it's on RMA

got rev 2.0 ....shipping was ok but however when i could tell they sent me somewhat used one cuz the manual was not in brand new and there was streched mark on plastic cover of the board where nforce chipset heatsink was....was not happy but i used it for 2 weeks now it's being sent back...

i don't know about other but if it advertise as "RETAIL" i expect every single thing as new...
who know i would get a "reburb" for my RMA...

if i were you i would order from googlegear

A7N8X

New are version 2.0
Refurbs mostly 1.04/1.06

Note the section that says FSB: 400/333/266/200MHz, that will be the v2.0 mobo.

For the record, I've never gotten a retail-boxed Asus board that did not have stretched marks over those super-tall heatsinks, and I'm talking about over 25 A7N266-VM's and two A7N8X-Deluxes, all of them definitely brand-new, which both have that model of heatsink. The manuals usually look a little funny since the CD has been stuffed into it, too.

To answer the original question: they're selling 2.0's. The 400MHz FSB support is your guarantee of it, and that's what they are listing in the specs.

Heh,
Not to sound redundant but the rev 2.0, are they equipped with the nForce2 400 chipset?

I just know that starting from PCB version 2.0, The A7N8X supports (FSB) 400. Not sure if it's what you want to know.

nForce2 Ultra 400 to be specific, with the dual-channel memory controller and support for the fancier MCP-T southbridge (the non-Ultra uses the MCP southbridge and single-channel memory controller). Incidentally, the non-Ultra board will be the A7N8X-X, so it's easy to distinguish.
