Just booked my first flight ever for my upcoming honeymoon. I've never been on an airplane before or had to reserve a flight, so all of this is new to me. I booked a flight for my fiance and I for late May through AmericanAirlines (they were the cheapest and offered excellent times for departure and return for our schedule).
I had hoped I would get an email immediately with all the info I'd need, but no dice. I'm just really nervous I'm going to mess something up, but I figure I'm still good to go. It's just that I haven't received the email, and they haven't charged the card yet.
Any ideas on how long to wait for the email from those who've been this route? Even though it's still over 3 months away, I am a neat freak when it comes to getting all the details nailed down well in advance.

EDIT: Finally got the e-ticket confirmation about 6 hours after placing the order. Everything is good to go!
