Anyone been to TV tapings?

Anyone here been to television show tapings? How is it? Fun or boring? I'm planning to go next month. Do we get to meet the stars and get their autograph?

Depends on the show. I went to Leno and Letterman many times. No autographs though.

what show you going to

its going to be boring.

i was doing it to raise money for some clubs at our highschool. went to go watch fresh prince of bel-air, boy meets world, some late night show (i forgot the host but pamela anderson was a guest). Its a 30 min. sitcom but might last about 2 hours. you'll have to do the fake laughs and all the stuff.

You won't be able to meet the stars or get their autographs.

when i was a kid, i went to a live taping of American Gladiatiors, still remember it to this day.

it took a whole day, for all the retakes and stufff...

depends on the show.
I've been too many Unhappily Ever After tapings
as well as tapings for The Smart Guy, Hiller and Diller, Head Over Heels, Vibe, and Jeopardy.

most were unamusing.

Saw David Copperfield special being taped in Vegas. Action, when happening, was very interesting ..... but far too little of that. Thank goodness Bill Cosby was also starring and he worked hard at keeping the audience entertained. I came to really respect him for that since he was not paid to do it. Overall, way too long and drawn out and boring ... especially when the casino is right outside the theater!

Went to spin city a couple of years ago. I had a great time. No autographs or anything like that but overall its a good time. It did drag towards the end. We were there for four hours so expect a long night.
