My folks want to go. Their English is alright. So this escorted journey seems ideal for worry-free traveling.

1. How is traveling to Peru Jan to April? I understand it's wet season. The question is how bad is it to impede enjoyable travel?

2. How are the locations below & price?

3. Any thoughts?

Did a trip there in that timeframe about 5 years ago. Rainy is relative, even in Jan and Feb you're still talking like 5" for the month which is about what the middle Eastern U.S. seaboard gets in a typical summer month.

Can't speak to price as I haven't traveled that way recently, seems reasonable though. Just keep in mind that you'll have additional out-of-pocket costs for add-ons that they'll probably want to do (visiting the floating reed islands on Lake Titicaca, etc.)

If you have any particular questions feel free to ask them and I'll answer as I'm able.

idk, i would only go for the cocaine. i'm not joking. i would totally go to peru for the cocaine.

guided tour? boring, and safe. they will enjoy it. is that price per person? yeah, probably.
like i said, i like rough + dangerous holidays, and peru would not be my first choice anyway, but they will probably love it. lots of photo opportunities, fresh air, mate', nice food. relatively safe country to visit too.

Fresh air at 11k foot elevation when they step off the plane in Cusco. OP better prep his parents to deal with that since if they're older that's going to hit them hard.
