Anyone been to irving, texas?

i have the option of driving 40 miles to the nearest alternative training center, or going to irving, texas... anyone been to irving?

Depends on what you are looking for. There are lots of other cities within driving distance that have decent spots to binge drink and whatnot

Home of Texas Stadium and the Cowboys. (For now) You are a stones throw from down town Dallas. There are a lot of places to go and have a good time in that area.

There is plenty to do in the DFW metroplex, assuming that you will have local transportation - The Sixth Floor Museum, the Dallas Zoo, Deep Ellum, and of course Fry's.

Irvin is just the empty space between Dallas and Ft Worth. Plenty to do in each.

I wish I could toss a stone (of any size) from Irving to downtown Dallas. Unfortunately I think that maybe the furthest I could launch anything that would be considered a stone (maybe a pebble?) would be 150 yards (on the high side).
