Anyone been to Catalina recently? Need tips...

My g/f and I have decided to go to Catalina tomorrow...

What is the best way to get there...Catalina Express? Any other cheap ways to get there?

Also, what can we do there? Anything fun?

Oh wow, I haven't been to Catalina since I was in the Boy Scouts (early 80s). They have a summer camp there. Emerald Bay.

We used to raid the girl scout camp over the hill and sneak out at night to meet up with the wild ones. 😀

Kayaking, hiking, snorkelling, sailing, stargazing, golfing (only 12 holes i think), and eating. That's about it.
