Anyone been to Brazil?

If so, what did you think of it? I plan on taking a vacation there some time within the next five years and was wondering what you thought. I have the vaccinations for Venezuela, would the vaccinations for Brazil be any different?

There's a LOT of violent crime in brazil, I have a few friends that live there.
